With a significant demand in the Emirates for Ducati motorcycles, a new Ducati Abu Dhabi showroom and service center opened in 2012. Bike launches were scheduled at the Dubai Autodrome, a motorsports circuit in Dubai, and Yas Marina circuit in Abu Dhabi hosting the prestigious Ducati Riding Experience (DRE).
Ducati, which competes in both the World Superbike Championship and the World MotoGP Championship, has hundreds of race victories and championship riders’ titles. The Italian bikes shine not only for their technical excellence but also for their innovative design.
Since 2010, Ducati bikes are sold in UAE through Ducati UAE (www.ducati.ae) that offers the full range of motorcycles and merchandise at an Abu Dhabi facility owned and operated by Revolutions Accessories LLC, part of Abdulla Al Masaood & Sons Group which is specialized in motorcycle products, equipment and services.
The showroom attracts many Ducati riders and enthusiasts, as well as racing competitors looking for the latest motorcycles showcases.
Ducati enthusiasts have also other ways to admire the iconic Italian bikes. Some are currently on display at Bikers Café, motorcycle-themed café in the UAE. This biker friendly meeting place found in Dubai, Fujairah and Abu Dhabi are one-of-a-kind entertainment and hospitality place to grab something to eat, drink, or leisure around checking out the bikes on display. The UAE motorcycling community often comes together at this café to check out the Ducati brand collection of apparel and merchandise that is available in the “shop in shop” area. Along with food and beverages, people also take the opportunity to read up on motorbike news and the Ducati brand in a contemporary and sporting atmosphere.
A Ducati Café is also available for fans of the brand. This is a chain restaurant and lounge bar also containing merchandise and apparel in a unique, venue where customers can experience Italian foods accompanied by Ducati gifts. Some lucky motorcycle fans have seen a few recognizable figures walk through the Café doors: MotoGP’s Nicky Hayden, an American professional motorcycle racer (and Ducati rider) who won the MotoGP World Championship in 2006, for example, was a special guest at the opening of the Middle East’s first Ducati Café.
Three-time World Superbike Champion and legendary Ducati rider, Troy Bayliss, instead, was present to celebrate the opening of the new home for Ducati in the capital. These notable racing figures are amongst the many motorcyclist clients who have enjoyed the Ducati experience.
